MY REVIEW: One of my favorite go-to beers. I first drank this beer at Hollerbachs Willowtree Cafe and have been sold on it ever since!
Score to my liking on a 1 low-10 high scale: 10
The classic German dark beer (7.6%ABV), is a bottom fermented Dopple Bock that is full-bodied with a deep dark color and rich roasted malt flavor. The extra strength takes nothing away from the drinkability of this beer. Supposedly only available in USA, at least not in Germany.
